Do You Think Swine Flu is Caused by Genetically Modified Food?

I was thinking the other day about this pandemic called "swine flu", and of course it's been flooded over and over by the media how fast it is spreading, all over the country. Well, I began to wonder, where does this all come from? Thin air? And I began to question the actual swine flu, and other diseases where they came from. And have you ever stopped to think that it might be from the genetically modified food you eat? Is it that this 'Swine flu' and many other diseases are nothing more than the government putting artificial ingrediants and mixing genetics from one food from another? If you don't know about genetically modified food first of all, you should learn a little bit about it, that would than broaden your intelligence about it. My belief is that Swine flu and many other illnesses are caused by genetically modified (everyday food we buy from the story) foods, the government doesn't want to tell anybody because the food industry is a billion dollar industry, and that will scare people from not buying anymore. They don't care about if they're getting sick, as long as they are making profits! That's all that matters to them, as long as their pockets are getting full by the end of the day, who cares who gets sick, dies, and doesn't get any better! That's how the government works , it's about power + greed and not about it people. So do you believe the Swine flu is caused by genetically modified foods ? If not where do you explain people from state to state getting it randomly?

I believe that it was a man-made disease; made by the government of course. They put this disease out on purpose. Haha did you see on the news yesterday how they "accidentally" gave children the wrong vaccine? Then they say that pregnant women need the vaccine first...I think it's because they want to affect the newest generation with this sick disease...do you see what I'm saying?

That's an interesting theory. I never even thought about that.

From what I've heard, it is a combination of human, swine, and two different types of bird virus'. This I believe was constructed in a lab. The most likely suspect is a vaccine company called Baxter International which literally stands to make billions of dollars from this pandemic scare.

I really think that is untrue. Viruses are viruses and they are not within GM foods to be passed on. I am totally agaisnt GM foods anyway, but I really can't see a connection.
I agree you want to react to GM foods, but don't raise extra fears about swine flu with this kind of suggestion, please.

Diseases existed before genetically modified food did.

The swine flu is just a new strain of the influenza virus that has been around for thousands of years. The only reason it's any different is because some of the proteins on the surface of the virus changed, which makes it hard for the human immune system to recognize and fight it.

You could make an argument for some of the other new diseases being caused by genetically modified food (I don't believe it, but you could make an argument) but the swine flu is just a normal part of nature. Flu viruses evolve just like everything else, and since there much smaller they do it much more quickly.

I don't think so, we have all been eating processed food from ages even some baby foods have artificial flavor and preservative.. I believe we as humans adapt to our environment...I think this is just caused by a virus

NO! H1N1 is a result of mutation from regular flu. The virus that cause human flu probably came into contact with another virus that were found in pigs. The two virus probably mutated and then was transferred to humans.
