a voided check is just a blank check that i use right?

A voided check is a blank check that you write the word VOID on in big letters across the front (so nobody can steal it and forge your name on it.)

A deposit slip is one of the deposit slips that are in the back of your book of checks.

Both of those things have your account number and your bank's routing number on them, which is what they need.
