Day to day weight loss while dieting/exercising.. Am I being too hard on myself for not losing enough?

Day to day weight loss while dieting/exercising.. Am I being too hard on myself for not losing enough?

Postby YoudidwhatRTFM on Tue Apr 07, 2009 10:29 pm

Hi, for the past few weeks I've been changing my lifestyle when it comes to diet and exercise. I run outside in the morning for 40 - 50 minutes 5 days a week. I've always been strictly limiting my diet to smaller portions and much healthier food, such as completely eliminating fast food and allowing myself to drink only water and skim milk for fluids.

Overall it seems to be working. I was initially 233+ lbs, and I've been able to get myself down to 219. However, today I felt unsatisfied about my day-to-day weight loss. Yesterday morning after my run I weighed in at 219.5 lbs. This morning after my run I weighed in at 219 lbs, meaning I lost half a pound.

I feel very dissatisfied that I only lost 1/2 lbs since yesterday....I was hoping for 2 or 3 lbs. Am I being too hard on myself? Is it okay to lose only 1/2 lbs after a day? Is it possible to increase my daily weight loss?

It is feasible to lose weight fast but you should be realistic and understand that if you lose weight rapidly then you will almost certainly put it all back on again just as rapidly. The sole thing that really worked for me was green tea, it can be seen in the resource box below, they have a small number of free trials left, it has been reported in Fox News and CNN. I shed twenty pounds, it really does work!

Weight loss was a nightmare for me until I tried out acai berry. I know they say that pills won't work, nevertheless they sure worked for me, and they have been showcased on CBS News too. There is a free trial happening right now at http://tamibc.ingineru.info, try it out , what have you got to lose?
