cannot delete a video file downloaded from YouTube. Need help?

Did everything I know of...:re-booting on safe mode, scanning with anti-virus, anti-malware, etc...got all best software available....but the pop-up comes up each time I delete the file...cannot shredded either.

Popup says: "CANNOT DELETE (FILE NAME). ACCESS DENIED.

MAKE SURE THE DISK IS NOT FULL OR WRITE PROTECTED AND THAT FILE IS NOT IN USE"

I even tried a file delete program (XL Delete). does not work.

My OS is XP sp3. The file is showing as MP4 !!!

Try booting into Safe mode and delete it from there.
Alternatively download and install Unlocker from http://www.scanwith.com/download/Unlocker.htm and use that to delete the flie

My only suggestion is to boot in Windows Safe Mode with Command Prompt. This is a more advanced safe mode that allows you to do things that the regular safe mode won't allow. You have to know where the file is located. If you are not familiar with the command prompt, enable your email through Yahoo and I can try to help you there.
