Can you bring cigarettes in luggage to another state/country?

I'm going somewhere and wondering if you can pack cigs in my bag to take to a different state and wondering if i can do so

usually no restrictions from one state to another however if you are going to another country you would need to check it out as there is usually a limit as to the amount you can take in. different countries, different amounts you can usually find it on the web site for the country you are going to.

remember sometimes the cigarettes may be cheaper where you are going, certainly where i come from there are different state taxes.

Provided these are regular cigarettes and not some kin of whacky backy then you are OK state to state.
