Can YOGA really lower High Blood Pressure (long term)?

The side effects from the high bp medicine almost always subside after a few weeks!! It is hard to bear it during that time, but they will go away. (Or almost completely.)
It was proven back in 70's that Yoga as well as Transcendental Meditation decrease blood pressure over the long run. You can get a cd and teach yourself at home, or go to classes. Amazon has cd's for both, I have them.
Good luck to you, and hang in there with the side effects. If they are intolerable after 3 weeks or so, ask your doc to try a different one. Just remember, you have to go through that first few weeks again ; )
