Body building for a 15 year old?

Body building for a 15 year old?

Postby DavidM on Wed May 06, 2009 9:19 pm

Hi, I'm 15 and I want to start some body building. I don't want have like pecks and a six pack and all that stuff, I just want to tone up and get stronger. I'm quite tall for my age I've just turned 15 and I'm

5 foot 10 (without shoes) and i have got very broad shoulders. At the moment I run 5 times a week (about 2 miles) and play football (soccer) a minimum of once a week. I am quite strong as it is but I am starting rugby soon and to compensate for me not being the fastest player, I will have to be stronger. So what exercises can I do?

Thanks in advance.

Body building for a 15 year old?

hay man im 15, 90kgs,5,9. im training to be a professional boxer ive got three steps to follow that i learned from my gym, 1.dont weight train with weights more than half your body weight otherwise you may stunt your growth. 2.only train 3-4 times a week your muscles only grow when you rest. 3.only do simple exercises arm curls, bench press, situps, pushups, chin ups etc, also a good toning exercise is kickboxing. DONT ever use protein to enhance your muscle growth only body build naturally, otherwise when you stop using it when your older it will turn to fat ALOT OF FAT but when you do it naturally it takes along time to go down in performance.
