he is probably fine. If there is some goo in his eyes then he is cold but I dont think there could be anything serious wrong with him.

why would all the vets be closed on a friday afternoon. You need to get your cat to a vet and get him some antibiotics sounds like he is getting URI and can't be treated by anyone but a vet. there is alot of this going around and i just had 3 kittens die from it and only 1 made it so you need to try your vet again cause he cant go all weekend without meds. Please do this now before it is too late. If he is feeling cold place him on hot water bottles with a towel covering them. dont make them hot just make them warm enough for him to keep his temp up. If you dont keep his temp up he will die for sure.

my 5 cats sneeze all the time and they are fine. i dunno bout the weird meow or blocked nose thing though. sounds like a cold, as animals can get this just like humans, but maybe take him into a vet when they open to be on the safe side. for now though, i don't think he's in any real danger...

your kitty has a cold... most cats get cold's especially when the season is changing which is happening right now its getting colder out and he's probably just not use to the cold air... if you see his nose is clogged grab a napkin and wipe it off for him because its probably annoying him... just keep an eye on him grab his neck if it stick's up by its self after you let go he could be dehydrated , check his eyes see if they are gooey with eyes boogers if he does wipe those for him too... if his cold gets worse bring him to the vet but he should be ok

It sounds like he might be getting an upper respiratory infection. A lot of cats that were adopted as strays or out of shelters have had them, and unfortunately they are recurring, so if your cat does have a URI, he will probably get little "colds" throughout his life. They're not usually a big deal though, and they go away after a week or two whether they are treated or not (and those that are caused by a virus can't be treated at all). If your cat is very uncomfortable and can't seem to breath through his nose because it is so congested, or if he acts uncharacteristically weak and stops eating, drinking, or using the litter box normally, then you should take him to an emergency vet immediately. Otherwise, he should be fine for a day or two until you can get him to a vet to make sure it isn't anything more serious. Good luck!
